Yokan Omokage
とらやの羊羹「おもかげ」の言葉から感じ取った、
曖昧でおぼろげな印象と、
過去を懐かしむような、
あたたかくやわらかい印象をうつわに落とし込めました。
白化粧を刷毛で薄く施すことで霞んだ表情を、灰釉と酸化焼成であたたかい色味を出しました。
Omokage
I felt a soft and vague impression from the word “Omokage.” Kneading, engobe and ash
glaze were used to create an unstable effect, which captures my impression of Omokage.
