Yokan takes a long time to make. The beans must be washed, boiled, needled and stretched.

To make something beautiful, much time and work is needed to create it.

A round pebble on the seafloor is the same way, as through erosion it is smoothed out overyears and years.

To safeguard the yokan, I placed it inside a pebble shaped container.

When opened, you will be surprised with the symbol of japanese culture inside.
